Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America (WAA) is a program that places wreaths on the graves of our fallen veterans.  The purpose of WAA is to "REMEMBER" those who have fallen, "HONOR" those who serve and have served, and "TEACH" our children the price of our freedoms.

Our Chapter sells wreaths year-round to be placed on the graves at the East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery (Lyon's View) in Knoxville.  Usually the second weekend of December, at noon, our Chapter's Color Guard, along with many other volunteers and organizations, attends a ceremony concluded with the placement of wreaths upon our heroes headstones.

Wreaths Across America provides our Chapter with "Thank You" cards to be given to our veterans at different events throughout the year.
